From ancient 'Post Inn' to elegant restaurant since 1850, this restaurant boasts a long tradition in the history of Milanese cuisine. Run since 1924 by the Anzaghi family, the structure renoveted with exquisite taste and elegance, has maintained its old features.
La Pobbia
The name of this restaurant which in Milanese dialect means 'Poplar' is a place where tradition is handed on by three generations. Three ingredients enhance the success of the place. First of all the great ability of Mr.Renato and his nephews Attilio and Roberto, who welcome their quests with all the attention they deserve, offering the experience of a regional cuisine rich in classic and creative dishes.
Much attention is also paid to the wine cellar offering a wide choice of the best Italian and foreign labels.
Finally the place has an elegant and romantic atmosphere, especially in the winter when the large fireplaces are lighted and there is the possibility to dine in the patio overlooking a cosy garden that becomes very romantic and full of charm by candlelight.
