Pinacoteca art gallery The Pinacoteca is having one of the most important art collections of Italy, with paintings of artists of XII to XX century such as Rafael, Mantegna, Piero della Francesca and Caravaggio. The gallery is housed in the baroque building, erected on the site of a fourteenth-century convent, rebuilt by the Jesuits in the seventeenth century.
To reach this Milan’s elite district I suggest you to use the metro number 2 (green line) and get off at Lanza station or bus/trams 3, 4, 12, 20, 61. If you stay more days in Milan, it’s a wise idea to purchase a 24-hour Metro ticket for 3 EURO at Central Train Station. Even walking from Duomo square it will take you 15 minutes to reach it.
