A Santa Lucia and other Milan romantic restaurants!

A Santa Lucia is another historic Milanese restaurant founded in 1929 in Via Agnelo which was to launch the pizza and la cucina Napoletana in Milan. In 1957 the restaurant moved in Via San Pietro all’Orto, preserving its original furniture and its original sign.

At the moment you enter this romantic restaurant, you have the impression of returning back through time with its old 1950’s chairs, waiters with white jacks, celebrity photographs on the walls, offering you old 1952 menu.

Old historical restaurant

The old and the ‘new’ restaurant was and it is still now the favorite meeting place of local artists, journalists, actors, politicians and international businessmen.

Among the famous clients were no less than D’Annunzio and Mascagni. Each artist offered his own portrait with an dedication, so the walls are filled with them. Since then 400 portraits of great artists have been collected, creating a valuable atmosphere of celebrities.

Restaurant is offering both national Italian dishes and typical Milanese cuisine like the risotto with famous ossobuco.
